Laura Herlovichhas operated Las Vegas’ most successful entertainment public relations company, PR Plus, since 1991. Ready to celebrate 20 years in business, PR Plus was Herlovich’s answer to finding her passion in life and working harder, but reaping the rewards of her own business. Herlovich worked for several casinos in marketing and public relations when a downsizing left her wondering what to do with her life. At the time the Hard Rock Cafe had just opened in Las Vegas and Herlovich, using her relationships at the cafe that had developed because of her ability to bring in the rock stars to the local eatery, became their top choice in finding someone that would continue to bring in the clientele that branded the company so well. That was it. Herlovich had a business plan, a business name and was on her way to paving the road for the multiple PR firms that would follow.
PR Plus was the first public relations firm opened in Las Vegas and has remained the top boutique firm in the city. In addition to the Hard Rock brand, Herlovich has worked with and represented such artists as Bon Jovi, Guns ‘N Roses, The Who, ‘NSYNC and Gladys Knight, as well as Disney and the many artists who have graced the stage of The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel. Her clients have appeared in People, US Weekly, Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly. Up and coming artists she represents can be seen in TeenPeople, Blast, BoyCrazy, and 16. Her clients grace the red carpets of award programs and special events including E!, Radio Music Awards and Billboard Awards. Television appearances on Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, Access Hollywood, Extra, The Early Show on CBS, CNN and numerous other national outlets have become common place for the accomplished publicity team at PR Plus.
Herlovich’s 30 years in public relations for high visibility clientele and a rock n’ roll approach to her passionate career have created a reputation for Herlovich matched by no one in the industry. Specializing in high profile clientele of all industries, Herlovich initially found success in publicizing sporting events and teams including the Utah Jazz and the NBA, Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom Huck Jam and championship boxing matches. Before launching PR Plus, Herlovich rounded out her experience as she oversaw the public relations, advertising and marketing for four major Las Vegas casinos – Bally’s, The Sahara, Aladdin and The Riviera.
Herlovich lives, eats and breathes not only public relations, but specifically her clients and their publicity goals and successes. She enjoys spending time at her second home in San Diego with her boyfriend Matt and their shiba inu Captain.
