Ask her what is important and she will say, “It’s keeping in contact with clients, providing service and advice, always keeping the bigger picture in mind. It’s important to stay on the plan and not let the media noise or market bumps derail us.”
Part of her team’s practice is focusing on creating value for all the families they serve. This includes looking at a client’s business and finding tax-efficient ways to attempt to grow wealth, including pension and retirement plans. “We believe foundations, not-for-profits and charities of our clients are an extension of the family, and we look to include them in the estate review and planning process,” says Lisa.
As a recent graduate of the Institute for Preparing Heirs, she believes that teaching heirs to be good stewards of family wealth passed on from one generation to the next is part of her and the team’s mission.
